Kash Patel’s 51-49 confirmation today as FBI Director – nominated by President Trump and confirmed by all but two of the Republican Senators – is a dangerous threat to the nation and a disaster for the FBI.

Patel is an outspoken enemy of the FBI he now leads, a politicized partisan, and a Trump acolyte with his own “enemies” list that he published in his book, Government Gangsters.

With Patel in charge, the FBI will not be the law enforcement agency that it was designed to be – one that operated independently from politics. Instead, with Patel at the helm, the FBI will be at Trump’s beck and call, as Trump misuses his office to pursue his revenge tour of retribution and retaliation.
