UPDATED “Criminal Tracker, 4th Edition” Compiles Evidence Of Possible Criminal Activities By Trump In His Coup Attempt To Overturn 2020 Election
The Tracker, prepared by former Amb. Norman Eisen, CREW, And Democracy 21, Has Been Updated With New Evidence Revealed In The First Three Hearings Of The Jan. 6 Committee
A new Criminal Evidence Tracker, published in Just Security, examines the evidence of possible criminal activity by former President Donald Trump in the coup attempt he led to overturn the presidential election in 2020. The tracker was prepared by former Ambassador Norman Eisen, CREW, and Democracy 21.
The Tracker has been updated with evidence revealed in each of the first four Jan. 6 Committee hearings.
The January 6th Hearings: A Criminal Evidence Tracker is divided into three areas:
- Criminal Tracker 1: Whether Donald Trump Conspired to Defraud the United States, by Norman Eisen, Noah Bookbinder, Fred Wertheimer, Jason Powell, and Debra Perlin
- Criminal Tracker 2: Whether Donald Trump Conspired to Obstruct an Official Proceeding, by Norman Eisen, Noah Bookbinder, Fred Wertheimer, Jason Powell, and Debra Perlin
- Criminal Tracker 3: Whether Donald Trump Solicited Election Fraud in the State of Georgia, by Noah Bookbinder, Norman Eisen, Fred Wertheimer, and Colby Galliher
Each section lists the evidence of possible criminal activity by Trump that existed prior to the House Jan. 6 Committee public hearing on June 9 and includes the new information revealed during the Committee’s first hearing.
The trackers will be updated after each hearing to show the accumulation of new evidence.
“These hearings are providing new evidence of possible criminal activity by President Trump as he attempted the first presidential coup in the 233-year history of our nation,” Democracy 21 President Fred Wertheimer said. “There must be accountability for the Trump-led effort to steal the presidency, starting at the top, in order to protect our democracy and prevent future coup attempts.”
The January 6th Hearings: Criminal Evidence Tracker, 4th Edition can be found on Just Security.
